Soothing words

This season comes with all forms of indulgence. Dinning and wining is the norm. Choose family or who to be with and where to go. Be wise in your decision. Be wise in the choices you make. Lots of unimaginable deeds are practiced. Be wise to use this platform to show excellence in all you do. Let excellence be your brother at home, at work and on the road. Remember, excellence is the only representative when your name is sounded in unknown quarters. Be wise!

This is a season for sharing. Share something with someone. It is much better to share with someone whom you had a misunderstanding, someone who is sick, someone who hurts, the children, the downtrodden, the helpless, elderly/seniors. Do not use this season to start asking for gifts. You lend a helping hand, make someone happy!

Each of us is made in a unique way. You display unique characteristics that cannot be found in another. Me also. Each of us has a purpose and a passion for something. Find that thing you have a passion to fulfill and that’s your purpose. Blossom and Fly in it. You cannot do what I do. I am me and you are you and the world will be a better place for this. Never be me!

Your beauty is like the rising of the sun. Beautiful in all facets, just the way you are. Your eyes, your hands, your feet, your daily outfit and all that makes you, YOU. Your beauty also transcends your physical outlook. Your beauty oozes from inside out by your kind actions and loving soul. You cannot be hid. Your beauty transcends the human mind and no human can comprehend the beauty therein. Let nothing down this sun!

A woman received a phone call one Friday night, from a man in State A who's neice was in State B and he asked if she could help organize a birithday ceremony for the niece, that, whatever funds she expends, he would pay into her account. She was scared and thought it was risky but she went ahead anyways. The birthday was a success and the man gave her a tip of 2/5 of the total funds. Another time of the same year, this woman needed funds to establish her business, this same person she assisted, helped her with half a million to realize the business. They were both successful. Never run away from risk taking. That sick folk you are assisting might be well again and may be your saviour in life. Good deeds are always rewarded. It doesn't necessarily have to be from the one you once assisted.

Do not catch yourself discouraging a family member or your friend on their idea to succeed. They may have an idea that seem ridiculous to you but please do something by either supporting them or telling them how it can be better, if you know how. Discouragement is the beginning of failure for them. They would not ever think they would be successful again. Do something to get them there.

Sometimes, it hurts to see loved ones take the wrong path. Its mind boggling, when all you do is try to help but they don’t seem to get it right. Take a step higher by not giving up on them. Remember, love sees no wrong. Do not yell at them, politely call them aside and talk like one who cares, overtime, they will get it right. Take a step higher- don’t stop providing. Be the change you want to see, by doing what you know best to do to bring them up to that place you so desire.  

You have been planning to save some funds every month for your education, shed some weight, get the house organized, buy a house, see that dentist, pay for somebody's tuition, get a job, start a business, see a sick family member, see your mum, see your dad, help someone get direction in life, go back to school, IT IS TIME JUST DO IT!

Give up on habits you have been fighting to get rid of. Take realistic steps to get rid of them. If the doctors says to stop eating eggs because of your high cholesterol level and you are so addicted to it, help yourself by not going close to it in the mall and buying them in the fridge. You could eat something close to it-beans (protein). This is a realistic step to reduce your cholesterol level. Just do it!
